ย If you love small-town romances, then ๐๐๐ฅ๐ค ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง is a book for you!ย
Jennifer Bardsley has painted the perfect small-town atmosphere in Skagiton, Washington. It’s an old logging town, with Carolโs diner, an annual Tulip Festival, and the Skagiton Moms Facebook Group. Itโs on this Facebook Group that you learn a lot of the townโs gossip; let me tell you, it gets nasty (but hilarious)!
The story’s focus is Peter Marshal, a real estate agent, whose older sister happens to be one of the ring leaders of the Skagiton Moms. Peter is one of the most eligible bachelors in town, but he has his eyes on Noelle Walters.
Noelle is a widow and a single mom. She canโt imagine moving on from her late husband. Yet, she works with Peter, who is so sweet, kind, and incredibly handsome. But Peterโs opinionated sister Vanessa has labeled Noelle โthe peanut butter bomberโ (a peanut allergy incident), and all the single women in town want to get their claws in him. If Noelle doesnโt act, she may miss out on a second chance at happiness.
A delightful story, full of humor and sass; I especially loved the Moms Facebook group! The romance is super sweet without becoming too saccharine. Just a fun, fresh read!
