Dashiel is a reformed medium traveling around the country, speaking on the falsity of spiritualism and mediums. At one of his lectures, he runs into Hermann Goschalk, an Egyptologist with a haunted artifact. Hermann asks Dashiel for his help, and one highly entertaining ghost story ensues.

This was so much fun, yet a little spooky too. Itโ€™s set in the 1930s, so it has a bit of that noir feel, yet the author adds a bit of cheekiness, and it works well.

A romance blooms between the two male main characters, but I donโ€™t think Iโ€™d call this a romance book. These quirky characters are written so well that their personalities leap off the page, and their quest to quell this ghost takes center stage.

I highly recommend this one if you love a good ghost story with a dash of levity.

Thank you @suzyapprovedbooktours and @megaeralwrites for a spot on tour and a gifted book.
