Once you dive into this story, it becomes evident that author and art dealer Linda Moore is writing about what she knows and loves. 

I loved her debut novel 𝐴𝑡𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. Once again, her writing offers a behind-the-scenes look at the art world and the crimes of stolen art. 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐭á offers a clever cat-and-mouse game that will keep you captivated until the final pages.

Gallery owner and young mother Ally Blake, decides to take a chance and exhibit art at the Bogotá art fair. But her art shipment from America is tampered with in transit. Before she knows it, she is plunged into the world of espionage with the U.S. government and even drug cartels. 

The suspense and intrigue are high in this brilliantly crafted thriller.

My husband and I both enjoy David Baldacci’s books, so when this one arrived, my husband quickly grabbed it off my TBR pile. 

Since I haven’t gotten to this one yet, 

I thought I’d let my husband be my guest reviewer today.

“Another great one from Baldacci. The action starts from the first chapters, and it intensifies from there. The characters are well-developed, and their stories are intertwined and complex. The mystery has some twists and turns, with a lot of multi-family drama, plus the mob and FBI are involved. It definitely held my interest throughout.”

Because my husband enjoyed this one so much, I’m looking forward to reading it soon. I do want to mention that it does touch on the subject of sexual abuse, but it happens off page.

It was so great to visit again with Suzie Faulkner. I first met her in 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞, where I loved her kick-butt attitude.
