This book is divided into two sections: Carrington and Crystal.
Carrington is on the run, remembering what it felt like as the knife sank into the Colonel. Carrington is on a Westward train when he meets the lovely and enchanting Amy. As much as he wants to remember his love for Jamison, Amy beguiles him and introduces him to exciting and dangerous things.
Jamison barely survives, and to rid herself of her connection to her father, she changes her name to Crystal. Now living abroad under the care of wealthy Jon Roe, Crystal soon discovers Jon is harboring secrets.
I hope book three will unravel some unanswered mysteries, especially about Jon.
