I paired this with the gifted audiobook from @PRHaudio, and it was a wonderful experience. It felt like a classic love story.ย
The narrative stretches between two timelines – two couples whose lives are beautifully intertwined.
I loved traveling from New York to Italy, and the vibrant descriptions of vineyards, cafes, and Italian desserts brought the trip to life. What made this a special story for me was the family connections and generational differences.
The author brought in issues such as socioeconomic and political differences, which caused betrayal and heartbreak. Yet, at its heart, this speaks of second chances and forgiveness.
A truly romantic read.
