Natalie Sinclair has dedicated her life to animal rescue. This was a fantastic mystery, but it covered some tough topics! The story deals with animal death and abuse, as well as, the suicide of family members.
As hard as those subjects are, and man, animal cruelty is one I canโt stomach – the author did a superb job of interlacing these elements into a sharp and well-plotted story. I did not see the ending coming – and it broke my heart. But without spoiling things – I have to tell you not all is unhappy in the end.
